I well remember the later Apollo missions, as they &quot;rehearsed&quot; for the moon mission; especially Apollo 8 when they finally circled the moon in Dec. &#039;68.  1968 had been such an insane year, but thanks to Apollo 8, it ended on a peaceful, hopeful note.</description>
